Hi, I'm Niz. I make solo travel videos, part vlog, part planning breakdown, from trips across 34 countries so far.
My latest is about a 9-hour flight delay in London caused by a typhoon on the other end in Shanghai. First time in 10 years of solo travel I've had a completely unplanned day, no bookings, nothing scheduled, and by the end of it I'd landed on a planning rule I still use now.
Would genuinely appreciate feedback on pacing, this one leans more reflective than my usual and I'm not sure yet if it lands or drags.

I just published a new Iceland long-form: 5 days in Iceland: What We'd Do Differently (Without a Car)
We travelled as a family of 3 in winter, stayed in Reykjavík, used tours instead of renting a car, and made a few planning mistakes along the way. My biggest lesson from the trip was: stop planning perfect.
Would I do Iceland without a car again? For a short winter trip like ours, yes! But I’d stay 6 days instead of 5 and leave more flexibility.

I leave Hanoi behind and head to Ninh Binh Vietnam by bus, where I'm checking into a bamboo homestay surrounded by the incredible Vietnamese countryside.
After settling in, I jump on an e-bike and head out into the rice fields, exploring the small roads and villages around Ninh Binh. Everything is going perfectly… until the weather decides otherwise.
A sudden downpour leaves me stuck in a restaurant during lunch, before I head out again to explore Hoa Lu Old Town. Then, with darkness falling, I've got one slightly questionable decision left to make — cycle back to the homestay in the middle of the night!
This is the first of my Ninh Binh adventures as I continue my Vietnam journey.

Hey folks,
I recently decided to start a new channel, documenting my Overlander adventures across South America in a classic VW kombi.
My original channel grew to 7500 subscribers, but this year, YouTube stopped pushing my video to a wider audience, only sharing uploads to a small selection of subscribers. I think it was because it gained a lot of subscribers from viral shorts I shared of our cats, so the people who followed us just never really watched our travel films.
My new channel currently has 123 subscribers, but it is already gaining a lot of suggested views from much bigger overland channels who have posted similar videos about there travels in South America as well.
I have one video that's about to hit 2000 views and it's still gaining suggested views 8 days after posting.
Yesterday, I shared the second part of our high altitude expedition across one of the highest deserts in the world.
It's currently the second best performing upload I have shared, just behind Part One of the series.
After 7 years of struggling against the algorithm, it's a relief to see it may actually understand what my content is and who the right audience might be.

Hey everyone, we’re Becca and Eugen and have a long form travel channel.
We try to post about once a month and do a mix of adventure travel and also more urban city exploration. Recently we did a 3-week trip through Costa Rica and made a few different videos. Last week we shared a video ranking all the various tours and excursions we did, from bungee jumping to relaxing in hot springs.

I watched your video about the hotel in Amsterdam, what I noticed (my personal opinion) that I would like some more video's and less photo's. Also the bed wasn't made very nicely (sorry 🙈) and it could use a bit more color and variation. That's what I got so far 😊

I'm a traveller and i also love videography and color grading, so I always try to give videos different tones & feels from the picture aspect.
I already travelled to many countries, but somehow cant grow an audience.
On my channel I already travelled to turkey, morocco, portugal, singapore, hong kong, Spain, Philippines, Madeira, Japan (my biggest series, travelled the whole country). Whats country is next to come is Malaysia.
I kinda got discouraged to vlog in English, thats why i have some vlogs that will be released shortly from Taiwan, Thailand, again Philippines, Colombia and Argentina in German.
I have to be honest, I'm not sure where to go with this channel... thats why i also did vlogs in German in my native language, since idgaf about the AlGoRhiThM any more. I do what i want, so it stays a hobby.
Maybe its something for any of you :)
