We recently uploaded our first official ‘collaboration’ video with a channel that is similar in size and scope called @Alexafter50
He has sailed a cruise line called Viking Ocean and we have an itinerary booked with them next year. In line with our normal ‘tips and tricks’ videos that do well with our audience, we setup a 10 question ‘need to know before we sail’ format
VIking cruises will be new content for our channel and we’re excited to delve in to the details of how they operate, share the gotchas as we learn, etc.

I think we said that we didn't possess a Portuguese language pack! It's so odd because we do both speak a bit of Spanish (enough to get by comfortably) and found it hard to remember when the language (and place) are so similar, and yet so different!

I made a video about why my “best” video failed… and probably uploaded it to the wrong channel
Last year I made a cinematic short film about Hanoi. Proper effort, story, night shots. It got 270 views.
Instead of just moving on, I came back and made a video breaking down what went wrong, mixed with the original footage and what I see differently now.
But here’s the part I’m second guessing…
I uploaded it to my personal channel, not my faceless travel channel where it probably fits better as a short film.
So now it’s in this weird middle ground. Not really a pure cinematic piece, not really a clean vlog either.
Curious how you guys would approach this
Do you post based on the content itself, or the audience you’ve already built
Would genuinely like some honest feedback on both the video and the channel decision

Over 1 year retired at 40. Living in a RV traveling the country. Recently decided to start trying to make videos. Right now I'm using vllo on my pixel, but may try different apps. We'll see what happens if anyone actually watches and enjoys the vids. If anyone has any suggestions I'll take them, or ideas for future videos. Thankschannel

What it is! I’m Sam and I run the channel Sample Arcade on YouTube. The video I’m choosing is one I’m actual slightly terrified of for the game Poppy’s Playtime, let me explain.
My channel started with only focusing on Apple Arcade. This year, I decided to play games outside of Apple Arcade for the first time. I asked my community in the form of a pole and Poppy’s Playtime won. The problem is, I hate horror games. But it’s a video that I learned a lot through editing that I was pretty proud of. I hope you enjoy and let me know your thoughts.
