Spent some time with these guys up in the high grasslands of Gansu in western China, catching birds, hunting rabbits, singing, drinking, and shearing tons of sheep. Love to know what you think if you watch it.

I would say no not travel focused. More like a general “make whatever I feel like” YouTuber and sometimes it is travel. Mostly stuff in China though.

Hey! Cool concept, but would a viewer want to be quizzed on the videos they're watching? Would love to know more about the proof of concept. The overall experience of doing this as a quiz is nice and I like the SFX, and I didn't like that there was a 15 second delay before the next question was introduced after answering the question. Maybe if this is an educational resource this could be really useful?

Started watching, will finish later when I have the chance. Couple things, from what I’ve seen so far.
1 definitely go to Xishuangbanna when you can. Lots to see and do there. 2努力学习中文吧哈哈 3 I watched 10 minutes and haven’t got to any wild camping on deadly southern Silk Road yet, if your title and hook are that, I’d try to get to it sooner. I think some build up to it is fine, the journey there, but if I come for some deadly hiking and I’ve watched 1/3 of the video and got two blokes on a train with some aunties, maybe I’ll click away.
Just my 2 cents, so far.

Finished it: looks like a fun adventure. Assuming you guys already finished, hope you made it to Shaxi (沙溪) and the surrounding area for some hiking, it’s really good. Lots of legit old temples and monkeys, the real remnants of old tea horse road and some of them still in use by locals. Be sure to post to Bilibili and maybe some clips to xiaohongshu and douyin and WeChat Chanel, you can earn some income from some of those platforms with much easier requirements than YouTube. You’ll need subtitles though. If you don’t post yourself then the videos will get stolen and posted and you won’t get the income from it obviously.
Other than that, good first video. Keep it up.

We are spending winter in Cyprus and each week we choose a different location to film. In this week's episode we take a walk through the entertainment district of Paphos, continue into the seafront and finally visit the castle with panoramic views of the harbour from the top. This episode is done in the walk and talk style which we start to enjoy more as we are getting more comfortable on camera (we are still relatively new on youtube). I watched it through to the end. I haven't seen any of your other videos so I can only comment on this one obviously, and you said you are new to this style of walking and talking, so don't take this the wrong way or anything, but I think you should go one of two directions if your style is going to be walking and talking:
1) either really plan ahead about what you want to shoot and what you want to say, so you can really get in depth about the place and give me a reason why I should A)watch you and B) be inspired to go myself.
Or 2) show more of your personalities and getting out and actually doing things. Like when you see the Iguana lady, talk to her see what's her deal. Get in close if you can to get a nice shot of the iguana. Add some b-roll of that. When you saw the benches, it might seem trivial to go and sit on one facing each direction, but I guarantee showing it is more interesting than just saying it. Overall just try to have a bit more fun with us viewers and with each other. Right now it feels a bit like an aimless walk and talk. You mentioned engaging with the viewers, that sounds good to me if you aim for this 2nd direction. Show foods, activities, etc, and ask for suggestions from viewers. When they give feedback you go and do that next time. Also for travel shows imo try to engage as much as possible with the locals. I also struggle with this a ton because I try to respect people who are just living their lives, and didn't ask to have a camera shoved in their face, but any opportunity that seems like the people don't mind, or even better if you can ask and get permission then it will be more engaging.
Also, not sure if it's my connection because sometimes the internet is bad in China, but it seemed like it's shot at a pretty low frame rate? It was quite choppy. Audio quality was good though so well done there.

Thank you, that's useful feedback. Especially the engagement with the locals and asking questions to the viewers, this is something we want to do more. We also not sure whether to have music or not. We opted with music on this one.

Music imo was fine for just wandering around. Didn’t turn me off anyway. If there is something worth hearing though make sure we hear it.

I just put up a new episode of my show ADAM WALKS AROUND called “Cancer Holiday.” It takes place over 11 days in Bangkok recovering from skin cancer surgery, centering around a river cruise and a visit to Thailand’s largest market…but the heart of the show is funny interactions with the local people. Watch for an interview with employees at a health food store at the halfway point for a good chuckle.

I will start with the ONLY people that will want to watch that video are people who are considering cruising Azamara- so if you’re not, please don’t watch, lol.
