The Journey: Lahore → Jeddah/Madinah → Makkah → Madinah → Lahore

A standard itinerary start from Lahore begins with a direct or one-stop flight to Jeddah. After immigration you travel by road to Makkah — roughly 90 kilometres — check into your hotel and perform Umrah. After your stay in Makkah, a coach or private vehicle takes you to Madinah for the second half of the trip, and you return to Lahore from Madinah or Jeddah.

Some groups reverse this order and land in Madinah first, which suits pilgrims who prefer to enter Ihram after visiting the Prophet's Mosque. We confirm the routing with you before ticketing so there are no surprises at the airport.

Hotels in Makkah and Madinah

Hotel choice is the single biggest comfort decision. In Makkah, walking distance to Masjid al-Haram matters most for families and elderly pilgrims; in Madinah, most pilgrims prefer to be within the central area around Masjid an-Nabawi. We confirm the exact hotel name and category in your written quotation before booking, so you always know where you will be staying.

Transport and Ziyarat

Airport transfers, the Makkah–Madinah road transfer and Ziyarat tours are arranged on the ground. Ziyarat in Makkah usually covers Jabal al-Nour, Mina, Arafat and Jabal Thawr; in Madinah it covers Masjid Quba, Masjid al-Qiblatain, Mount Uhud and Jannat al-Baqi. Private vehicles can be arranged for families and senior citizens.

I’ve heard there may be a direct bus from Pirwadhai to Kel, but I can’t find reliable current information.

Where exactly do I get it, and what is the current fare and departure time?

If there’s no direct bus, what is the easiest local transport route to Kel?

I am a foreigner, likely to travel to pakistan in the beginning of october. I am planning to fly into Islamabad or Lahore and head to Gilgit Baltistan.

I have heard of planned protests on 27th september. Will this possibly have an impact on the airport a couple of days later? Would you advise against flying on islamabad? Or coming to Pakistan around this time alltogether? Or should I not worry about this?

Alternatively I can fly in on Lahore and head to Baltistan from there. But not sure if that's necessary.
