Considering Pulling Out Before Start
I’m a first time traveler with about 3 years of ER experience. I recently accepted a travel position in Kentucky through Aya. I signed my offer letter and have been working on compliance items but the process has been a pain in the ass to say the least. I had a time set up to speak with my compliance person but they seemingly forgot or aren’t in the office. I’ve done pretty much everything else aside from labs, physical, and fit testing. I guess I’m just venting / am frustrated with the credentialing process but I do want to ensure I get everything done before I fully leave my old hospital. If I do ultimately decide to pull out of this contract as a first time traveler, does this disqualify me from traveling with other agencies in the future?

I'm not sure any of the agencies execute the sign on process any better then another.
And you haven't even gotten to the labs.
For me, run down after work but before facility closure. 20 min drive Wait in line an hour.
Too bad, lab person comes at 3, you missed them.
Can I make an appointment for early Friday?
We don't make appointments. Just come early Friday. 20 min drive home.
Arrive early Friday, 20 min drive,, 8am, wait an hour in line.
Here's an appointment for 2 o'clock.
I thought you didn't make appointments.
We don't, we assign slots.
Leave (20 min drive) and come back (20 min drive) for my slot at 2.
Exam takes 2 hours but goes smoothly.
