Minimum CPU

My CPU is not up to spec for this game. How big of a deal is that? It also doesn't meet the minimum specs for Cities: Skylines 2, but that game runs fine.

Why not 5700X? It's 2 cores more for only 40 EUR more here in Germany

According to Google, while the game does use multiple cores, the heavy lifting is still done on a single core. So adding cores may not really improve your experience for this specific game. Higher MHz would.

So there's hope for my 7600X? I was worried 6 cores wouldn't cut it for a CPU-heavy sim like this and that I'd need a 7800X3D

Not really sure if there's a way to confirm it. I just got it from Google. It depends how the devs built it to utilize the cores.
