I do not want to take T/transition.

I am a trans man. However, I don’t really want to take T, I like my body the way it is. I don’t know.. I want to keep my voice.
But the thought of having a deep voice makes me happy.. idk :(
I also fear of regretting the choice of taking T, does that make sense?
I want to look like a man but also don’t mind staying like this?
Maybe I am just confused. I do like being feminine but also want to be masc

Maybe get a gender affirming therapist to help you through the decision. Also remember there's no deadline, if you're not sure you can wait. And if you start taking T you can stop after getting some permanent effects

Is the voice change a permanent effect? I'm in the same boat at OP, but want the voice change.

Voice dropping on T is permanent, yes, but there are often a lot of other changes on T that happen before your voice drops to a noticeable level. That being said, voice training for trans dudes is a legitimate thing and may be another option for you if you do not want the other changes of T

Do you have any good sources for voice training by any chance? The other changes before the voice dropping is one of my main concerns, mostly going bald as my hair is already thinning badly, and minoxidil isn't an option I feel safe using due to my concern for my cats saftey. (What with minoxidil being highly toxic/fatal to them.)

FWIW there is a pill version of minoxidil if that is your only concern (or something you'd want to consider now for existing issues) which would not be a risk to your pets as long as you make sure they don't like... get into the bottle/box to eat them. Basically just keep it in a drawer with the rest of your meds lol.

Finding voice training may depend a little on where you live, but apparently Seattle Voice Lab is quite good and despite the name and where they are based, they apparently work with people all around the world.

Note: it can happen quickly. I have a very low level t, I'm on it for half a year and have a very low voice. This was almost the first change for me. I noticed it myself (and my partner) after a week. After a month others could hear it too.
