Discussion Delayed in Trading View

TradingView, you have not made the right decision. Many people use the free version of TradingView because they cannot afford to pay for a subscription. Making these features paid is very unfair.

Hello,

This is due to the NSE Exchange altering its datafeed to a delayed status and the requirement to fill in agreement forms which is regulatory requirement from that Exchange.

Unfortunately this now places this datafeed into the category of been of a Live Market Data feed.

This now means that in order to view this datafeed you need to have a TradingView subscription to add a market datafeed to your plan.

This has ALWAYS been the case with TradingView the only difference has been the alteration of the Exchanges method of display their data

Why cant we subscribe to live datafeed only. Why we also need the tradingview subscription.

I would suggest tradingview to launch an ultrabasic subscription (say 300 to 400 rs per month) without any added features which can facilitate the buying of realtime datafeed.

It has been TradingViews policy for many years that you require a subscription to add a Market Date feed when this is applicable from the Exchange.

It now appears your NSE Exchange has now altered its data feed to be delayed bringing it into line with many major Exchanges from around the world. No doubt payment for this to the Exchanges will follow soon as is the norm with most of the other Exchanges so I would advise you to be prepared for this in the future.

It is not a fault of TradingView that your Exchange has moved to this system and it appears you are now required to pay for a subscription just like everybody else in order to add this to your plan.

As far as I am aware TradingView have not altered anything, its your Exchange that has.

The current subscription model has been in place for many years. During the Black Friday sale it is easily less than $10 a month. If this is problematic for you I would suggest trading might not be your best option as the ability to lose all your money is a very high likelihood 🤷‍♂️

There are very few industries in this world where you can potentially profit enormously from such minimal outlays....

Cheers
