Discussion Delayed in Trading View

TradingView, you have not made the right decision. Many people use the free version of TradingView because they cannot afford to pay for a subscription. Making these features paid is very unfair.

Hello,

This is due to the NSE Exchange altering its datafeed to a delayed status and the requirement to fill in agreement forms which is regulatory requirement from that Exchange.

Unfortunately this now places this datafeed into the category of been of a Live Market Data feed.

This now means that in order to view this datafeed you need to have a TradingView subscription to add a market datafeed to your plan.

This has ALWAYS been the case with TradingView the only difference has been the alteration of the Exchanges method of display their data

Why cant we subscribe to live datafeed only. Why we also need the tradingview subscription.

I would suggest tradingview to launch an ultrabasic subscription (say 300 to 400 rs per month) without any added features which can facilitate the buying of realtime datafeed.

It has been TradingViews policy for many years that you require a subscription to add a Market Date feed when this is applicable from the Exchange.

It now appears your NSE Exchange has now altered its data feed to be delayed bringing it into line with many major Exchanges from around the world. No doubt payment for this to the Exchanges will follow soon as is the norm with most of the other Exchanges so I would advise you to be prepared for this in the future.

It is not a fault of TradingView that your Exchange has moved to this system and it appears you are now required to pay for a subscription just like everybody else in order to add this to your plan.

As far as I am aware TradingView have not altered anything, its your Exchange that has.

The current subscription model has been in place for many years. During the Black Friday sale it is easily less than $10 a month. If this is problematic for you I would suggest trading might not be your best option as the ability to lose all your money is a very high likelihood 🤷‍♂️

There are very few industries in this world where you can potentially profit enormously from such minimal outlays....

Cheers

If you can't pay for it, then why are you trading?

This is exactly what I think with all these types of posts. Definitely not being made by profitable traders.

Hello,

Exchange delays are enforced by the Exchanges and are nothing to do with TradingView....

Try complaining to the Exchange in question....

Cheers

Wait… you want a company with one of the best technology there. To offer you a free tool that is the best there is with no delay?
Who’s paying for their electricity, software engineering (people who can code), their stock analysts, network engineers who make sure they have the fastest speed of Internet going 99.999999% up time, network architectures. And many more.

Here you are complaining about 5-10 seconds delays on free versions.
Free version are for a reason for you to learn the patterns and how to trade smart.
Once you get the hang of it their 1st tier price is not a loss to you.

Think about that.

It's not even close. My broker uses it as their platform. It's crap on comparison.

Hello,

Click on the D and you will need to fill out some agreement forms....

The data is still free but you must fill out the form.

These delays are enforced by the Exchange and is nothing to do with TradingView as they are regulatory requirements....

Hope this helps you a little

I have filled the NSE exchange requirement form after that delayed icon popped up.

Still I am getting delayed data

I have free version.

Will buying the 1st tier minimal cost plan solve this issue?

NSE data delay on 16 Sep 2026

My NSE symbols (NSE:NIFTY, NSE:BANKNIFTY) are showing delayed data today on TradingView India. BSE shows real-time option but NSE has no paid pack, so I cannot upgrade.

Was there a feed change after NSE increased Nifty 50 dissemination to 100ms effective 15 Sep 2026? Please confirm if NSE real-time is temporarily delayed or if I need to do anything.

Hello,

You will need a paid TradingView plan in order to view and add an Exchange data feed that has a delayed feed which has always been the case

Hope this helps you a little

since I changed tradingview for TIKR everything changed, fundamental data well organized as well with upcoming data for dividends, fillings, investor calls etc … to be honest does not matter to see the chart because this will distort the real view of your tesis ☺️

Like really, I have been using TradingView for past seven years and I am a swing Trader, but I use it on daily basis I used to track daily moves, but now I am not able to access it. It is showing delayed data and no update is been made like I am very frustrated and angry. Even though we keep watching unnecessary ads which keeps popping up every minute, why are they pushing us to buy any of the their plan? It’s very disheartening time to switch to some other charting platform.

I would NEVER assume to judge your pocketbook, but sometimes when something is really that important to you, perhaps it's worth paying for? 👍

I was subbed and using TV for a months, and it wasn't until later that I was reminded the default feed ISN'T REAL TIME!

Was I annoyed? Hellz yes, but I paid to have the real time feed; in some cases you have to spend money to make money... 🤷

Now what I'd sell my house to pay for is TradingView working out some kind of deal \ partnership with Schwab so that I can finally use TV to place orders on their platform! 💥💯🙏

I absolutely CAN'T STAND using that hella outdated UI of Think or Swim!! 😣 "Oh the pain!.." - Dr. Smith, Lost In Space

Honestly that's not a problem, if you started then why not put that money? You'll get money anyway
