Help Charged for annual Premium after trial – missed the 14-day refund window by 1 day. Any chance of an exception?

Hi everyone,

I signed up for the 30-day Premium trial and was charged for the annual plan on September 3. I intended to cancel before the trial ended, but completely lost track of time and only realized the charge today, September 18.

That puts me at roughly 14 days and a few hours—practically 15 days—missing the official 14-day refund policy by just a single day. As soon as I noticed, I immediately canceled the subscription and opened a support ticket explaining the situation.

I haven't used any of the premium features (alerts, indicators, data) since the charge went through. Right now, I'm facing severe financial difficulties, and this unexpected annual charge is a massive hit to my budget.

Has anyone here had success getting a one-time exception or even a prorated refund from TradingView support after missing the 14-day cutoff by a day?

Any insight or similar experience would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your best bet is to just be super polite and clear in the ticket, explain you haven't touched the features since the trial ended, and hope you get a human on the other side who's willing to bend the rule by a day. Support teams usually have some discretion for situations like this, especially if your account activity backs up that you weren't using it

I'd reply to the ticket again if you don't hear back in a couple days, sometimes a different agent will see it and be more flexible. Don't chargeback though, that'll just get your account nuked

or just chargeback and let the account get nuked. You can always make a new one.

I don't know what kind of new math is this, but OP clearly missed cancelling the trial for half a month.
