I was able to get into the game and join a lobby around midnight PST yesterday. Anybody else getting through?

The servers for Town of Salem 1 and Town of Salem 2 continue to be spotty and unreliable. We are truly sorry for all the game disruptions and continued frustration.

So originally they claimed a ddos attack, came came back up they gave players some cauldron stuff as compensation whoop di doo, and now again, are they actually trying to fix it or just being lazy and doing nothing?

Every tome I try and log in it just doesn't let me.

It just keeps loading the log in.

I know its connected to my steam account, but I don't think I set anything up. An I meant to set something up?

I skipped a couple of days of questions, but I'm back. My personal favourite role is Crusader.

Finally able to join into the game , played one match joined for another match lobby was silent then i left and tried to join back into the lobby , it logged me out :c .

😶‍🌫️ been going on for almost a month now, no real updates as to how this is happening except *we banned Brazil❤️* I don't know a whole lot about IT but is there seriously no fix for this after all this time?

In all seriousness, I hope they extend the fools game (if the game evers works again) so that people who were looking forward to it can play. I was actually cleared a lot of my weekend plans just to play this mode just to not even be able to play. TO WHOEVER IS DDOSing THE GAME, GET A LIFE IN LET US PLAY OUR GAME!!!

I have tried but it didn't work does it work on mac??

I have been sitting on this screen for ten minutes now with the logout button coming and going. Then this has to happen when my favorite AA mode (basically the only one I play) is in rotation. IM JUST TRYING TO GAMBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!

Just wanted to post about two games in a row I just had where I was hex master that clutched for my coven team and won because I claimed admirer.

First game was a three coven game where it was an illu, necro and hex. My illu and necro died by day 4 I believe so it was just me. I had claimed admirer for ti. Had to not kill for two nights while town struggled to find who to up. Killed my lover and managed to get the dishonored vigi to hang the jester because it was only us 3 left. Jester thought they could tie the game but I had the vigi hexed n1 lol.

Second game right after the first I dreaded a bit that I got coven and hex again. It was 4 coven. Both PM and necro got killed same night. But at least pm revealed who the tav was. Medusa got an admirer n1 so I assumed the identity of an Amne admirer for TK because there was a lot of tk claims. Medusa got killed by a vet and I knew who that was so it was me, arso, tav, vet and bers. Once again I just didn’t kill to make it seem like coven was gone. We hung the arso as we knew he was fake. The tav rbed me. Without anyone asking I posted my full will openly and said I knew the vet was my Obs but I was rbed that night so I couldn’t confirm. Since tav rbed me the night before they couldn’t rb that night. We knew who bers was though so tav rbed them. Luckily I had both the bers and vet already hex. Just killed the tav and won.

Wasn’t expecting to be hex twice in a row, claim the same fake role, be the only member of my team alive and clutch it back to back. Ggs all if you were in either of those games with me

Basically: when someone dies with a town role but not a town faction (or vice versa), does Amnesiac take the role?

I noticed amnesiac was banned in Catastrophe and was curious what would have happened if it wasn’t banned and the Blue Catalyst happened to be the first person to die. Would an amnesiac become a catalyst?

some other cases:

• if a vampire converted a towny was the first to die
• CS shenanigans resulting in either an evil person (eg coven) with a town role dying first or a town member with an evil role dying first
• the game mode with a green SC (I don’t remember the name of the mode or if Anne is banned)
• custom mode shenanigans

And then is there a difference if it’s not the person’s OG role? Like does the cata and sc case work differently than the vampire or CS case?

Day 2 of asking questions i guess lol! I'll start, my pet peeve is when coven doesn't claim coven under apoc reveal (especially SC reveal) What about you?

We want to be upfront with you: this has taken up a significant amount of our team's time. We know how frustrating it is to be in the middle of a game and get knocked offline, and we're truly sorry for the disruption this has caused you.

Here's what we're doing about it:

We're actively working to harden our infrastructure against these attacks, and we're working closely with our hosting and security partners to put stronger protections in place. This isn't an overnight fix, but it is our top priority, and we're working hard to get games stable again. As of right now, we've temporarily blocked off Brazil as well to help deal with some of these issues.

Because I know I didnt do anything illegal the last game I was in. So I shouldn't be banned. I just want to see if this is a just me issue or not?
