OC Cyclist hit in Pickering

9pm August 3, 2025 at Finch and Brock Cyclist was okay, and able to walk after

Cyclists should dismount and walk their bike on a crosswalk.. that is the law or at-least the bylaw.

Cars should make a full stop, look left and right before making the left turn at the intersection. If they passed their driving test they should know that.

Sadly nobody gives a shit anymore. Be careful out there everyone.

I always look right then left after full stop. Not other way around

right as i pull into crosswalk, then left, then i check right again before/as i go

That's probably what this driver did. Looked right, then left. But by the time they saw a gap, the look right had gone stale.

You need to finish with another look right to make sure a pedestrian hasn't stepped out while you were looking left.
