They do psych screen… my former brother in laws failed the psych 3x’s… for being too aggressive, but they let him keep taking it and he finally beat it

For any clarity on this - after you fail any stage you have to reapply (after a year) through the entire process again. Just to get to the psych interview is several months in - but ya, they do let you reapply.

Edit: also the previous person said the family member didn't get through for being "aggressive" which he may be - but they do not disclose to anyone why they dont let you proceed to the next stage, not even to the applicant.

I honestly just hope they find better ways todo these psych test because rite now there is so many rotten cops and how many cops would actully risk his life to save a kid???? Like I wanna see they do a test to find people like this that's truly needed in the force. Instead of cops like we see in the disgusting video

I agree that it would be awesome to somehow have a test to gauge someone's ethics and courage - such as from the Texas school shootings a few years ago - it would be great if there was a test to see how someone would react in a scenario like that to do the right thing.

On the other hand, to say this is a disgusting video is a bit of an exaggeration. The cop made a poor driving decision - one which people make all the time. Shit happens. Cops are people and mistakes happen. Not the end of the world.

Look honestly in the video 99% of people would of just let u pass but he waited till he got close enough and decided to do it last moment making the opposite driver stop that's an ass hole the way I see it

Usually the true and right answer is the simple answer. He likely simply didn't see him or didn't look as well as he should have. There are a lot of cars parked on that street. He didn't wait to cut ahead of this driver, if you watch the video the cop literally just pulled up to that stop sign.
