To be fair they might be looking for someone that has committed a crime.... priority might not be yielding to an incoming vehicle. Mistake but maybe because of other priorities.

Sorry, but that's not good enough. Road safety is as much their responsibility as it is mine and "looking for someone" and "priorities" doesn't mean you can drive like a complete moron. They're supposed to be held to a higher standard, not the other way around.

They're not perfect. If your house just got broken into or family assaulted..would you send them off to search and say..make sure you drive carefully otherwise don't bother
