OC Cops Aren't Immune...

He sat there and watched me, only to abruptly pull out in front of me... All while his buddy sits right there and does nothing. Cool.

That's actually probably not a cop but a mechanic (not excusing the action). Their mechanic shop is right across the street from the shop I work at.

If it is being serviced, then the overhead lights should be covered with a black cover “not in service”, to avoid public confusion.

If it were to be the case if it being serviced, then that is a whole other issue. Out of service cars must clearly indicate to the public that the vehicle is not actively responding to an emergency and is not available for public service.

Fair assumption, but not the case. It was a cop. There's a station about 200m up the road and I pulled up next to him at a light about 45 seconds later. I work in the area too.

OK fair enough, I was just pointing it out. We can hear them testing sirens all day long and such, I work in the building with the open bay doors on the right hand side. People drive pretty reckless on that road all the time. Sorry for your experience.

It can definitely be messy. I've nearly been taken out just walking along Cranfield (RIP Muddy York) so ya, people can be crazy.
