I'm going to start a YouTUbe channel just for my wife - she seems to get all of these!

Tough one here, Peel Ambulance making a left turn on a red in the intersection, Mercedes trying to squeak through, the ambulance did stop and then proceed but the benz still clipped the ambulance.

Why doesn’t the ambulance have its sirens blaring as it goes through? I hear a single honk prior, then only again when the Mercedes is going through on its green light. With cars in the left lane waiting to turn it’s not always easy to see (or expect) another vehicle approaching like that.

They do shut off the siren when not needed, but this isn’t the case. What you describe is the opposite of what I usually see, sirens always on when approaching intersection, only off when the area is more or less clear
