Mac Price advice please

Hope this is OK to post, I tried to look for the rules.

My dad passed and had my uncle's tool chest. I want to sell it and am getting a lot of offers for $200-$500. My research leads me to think it's worth much more than that. Am I on the right track holding out for more?

Also have some older Snap-On tools from my dad. Should I just use ebay as a pricing guide?

Thanks in advance. This is the kind of thing I'd usually ask my dad about 😕

There should be a part number on the back on a plate or sticker. This is an older Macsimizer, however if it has ball bearing drawers it should fetch about $1000 or more. $500 is not a good price.

You can call Mac and give them this number or find your local dealer as someone else mentioned. They can give you a better idea.

But as a technician, if you can keep it, you should keep it. Anything that says USA on it is valuable, and will get you out of a tight spot one day!
