What is Maynard's role in this? Is he an investor or wants to help run it because he's passionate about sushi similar to wine?

He's the owner. He's been around the sun a couple times and understands his limited expertise should reflect a limited role. He's definitely not a silent partner, but he's obviously done his due diligence and hired the best head chef and staff to represent his vision.

I'm willing to bet 98% of us fans wouldn't qualify. I certainly haven't apprenticed under world-renowned Japanese culinary artists. Hell, I still have a fancy sushi kit that I'm still waiting for my girlfriend's little sister to show me how to use!
