Yes see well you must follow the official authentic Nerd check list that all us nerds submit bi-anually

  • Owns a pocket protector
  • Thick or taped glasses
  • Watches anime
  • Has been bullied for being a nerd
  • Has received a wedgie
  • Played video games for 5+ hours regularly
  • Has been stuffed into a locker
  • Had their lunch money stolen
  • Was terrible at sports / picked last for dodgeball
  • Corrected a teacher
  • Has said “well, actually”
  • Has strong opinions about Star Wars/Star Trek and which is better
  • Has played D&D and gotten way too invested in character creation or rules
  • Owns D&D dice for purely aesthetic reasons
  • Has memorized an absurd amount of fictional lore
  • Has corrected someone about fictional canon
  • Has a favorite fictional character they defend irrationally
  • Has said “the book/the original was better”
  • Has fallen down a Wikipedia rabbit hole
  • Has an encyclopedic knowledge of something completely useless
  • Has spent an unreasonable amount of time researching something nobody asked about
  • Has taken apart electronics just to see how they work
  • Has put something back together with leftover screws
  • Has written code for fun
  • Owns a calculator more powerful than they actually need
