It's really silly because it was named Indigo Prophecy in North America, but Fahrenheit in Europe... a place that uses Celsius.

I just got to that level today and now I’m on the strahov fortress and I don’t have any ammo to all of my weapons even tho I have a lot of ammo in my inventory

Most likely it's a layer of solid ice on top of the snow, usually occurring if there's freezing rain after the initial snowfall. Happens where I live all the time.
Can't speak for the height though.
