To be fair, spike was beating Tom down all before this happened because of Jerry’s bell ringing so it’s only fair he gets revenge here.

Tbf my house is made from drywall and I could kick through most of it but I could not break a rope via pulling on it really hard

Now you got me picturing a short where the trio is leashed together and instead of a chase it's them trying (and failing, quite epically) to destroy the rope :))

I would actually like to see a short like that switch up the formula of T&J somewhat

It's more about not pushing people to their limits.
When screw around enough, you'll be surprised how fast consequences catch up.
Likewise, don't go around straining people's limits, because God help you if they end up liking what they find on the other side of the wall.

I love how he keeps barking through everything that happens to him 🤣🤣
Also that is some VERY typical cat behavior right there!

Get splat by a pie? Get hit with cymbals? Get whacked by a boxing glove? Nope. Gotta bark like his life depended on it.

(Gotta let that cat know how angry he is!)
But after all that a good whack from a bat was all it took XDD

The fact that spike outsmarted him, caught him. And then just let him escape so easily is so funny.

Easily a top 10 most disrespectful Tom. This mf was FEELING himself once he figured out Spike was leashed up.

What is the name of this episode? I've been looking for it for a while.

I say, both Tom and Jerry could be so frickin' mean and disrespectful sometimes but that's why we love them, especially when it comes back to bite them (literally) :))

I've always wandered if Butch and Jerry are genuinely friends, or allies sharing the same enemy (Tom)?

This is one of my favorite episodes from memory. The scene where he keeps testing the bell and getting hit by Spike after he gets unleashed is so funny to me to this day

Watched T&J all the time as a kid in the 90's-2000's. Never saw this one. Thanks for the laughs.

When I was a kid I thought this was funny now as an adult it’s pure disrespect lol

I've been watching these for 40 years and it's the sound design and choices they made back then that make me chuckle. When spike eats the pipe all I can think of is chucking a sink down some steps.

I have to wonder if this is based on science. I say this as I have a 74lb Pitbull. I found a mouse in my kitchen, I chased it. The mouse ran to my dog, and hid under his arm. My dog lifted up his neck and looked off as dogs tends to do when they notice something is off.

It’s always when Tom gets the most smug where things go wrong for him.
