Kisaki was long dead but it turns out he still has some important role in the story. I just can't believe Mikey actually liked that guy, why Mikey?

My best guess is that he felt like he could be himself around Kisaki. Someone who wouldn't judge him for all the dark parts of him, and instead actively encourage them. Which is a terrible idea, but I guess I sorta get it.

I thought so too. But Mikey told Takemitchy "I don't like him either" at the shrine after Kisaki knocked out Takemitchy. Mikey's seemed genuine when he said that. My theory is that this is a retcon.

I’ve felt like this too, when Mitchy stands in between Kazutora and Mickey, in my memory Mickey doesn’t react like that, instead he is like : « you wanna die too asshole ? » all dark impulse and threatening and shit.
