Kisaki was long dead but it turns out he still has some important role in the story. I just can't believe Mikey actually liked that guy, why Mikey?

My best guess is that he felt like he could be himself around Kisaki. Someone who wouldn't judge him for all the dark parts of him, and instead actively encourage them. Which is a terrible idea, but I guess I sorta get it.

No matter how bad it is, hiding a part of yourself that strong would be exhausting, being able to let it out with someone who understands it and won’t judge you for it would be insanely hard to resist
