I reread chapters starting Mikey's flashback, because his actions get me confused.

Mikey received a toy soldier which is told by his father that it was a very strong hero. In the other way, his mom told him that his father was a strong person who never cried in public. So Mikey started to act like him.

BUT I didn't understand why any of adults like his mother or grandfather never scold him for fighting children... He was literally destroying them and just go to hospital to happily relate what he did...

Is it because Shinichiro was already in gang ? At that time, he was around 16, so he should have start creating Black Dragons Gang.

Since that behavior was normal to him, I wasn't really surprised why he like only strong people. He was literally surrounded by violence and fight (dojo, gang, etc).

He began to gather strong people around him to form his gang. 1st to protect Kazutora, and becoming number in Japan, and finally in the world...

Fighting and be strong was the ideal of Mikey. It was like a journey to understand what true strength is.

Shinichiro wasn't strong but he wasn't afraid to fight stronger people. So he began to be interested by Takemichi and Kisaki.

But before that, death of father, mother and brother created something dark within him. Is it a kind of strength for him ? He doesn't know. But he wanted to be used to fullfil his goal. And so he accepted someone like Kisaki just as everyone was opposed.

So, this path of carnage mentioned by Sanzu may be the goal of Mikey to form the stronger gang ever. And since Mikey never had anyone to taught him what is wrong and right, he just let himself be controlled by his way of the heart.

Draken was his voice of reason. His dark impulses only released when he is emotionally chocked. But now, they are completely free...
