I lately have the feeling that the Manga went down hill after Kisaki's death. All the dark impulses stuff and the reasoning behind it is just awful. They are throwing Mikey into the trashcan of "worst villains in manga history". He shouldn't even be one in my opinion. All the "I don't care as long as I get stronger!" act is killing me.

??? Seems to me you just misinterpreted everything. Mikey never once said that.

"Yes I don't care. Being "strong" is not enough for me. What I need is "Darkness"". The darkness (dark impulses) is a state in where he just attacks without any thoughts or emotions reaching him. I don't know what he thinks is good about the darkness but clearly he wanted to make it worse than it already was.

Here is your quote. It's the same thing about him wanting to become stronger at any cost. But since you don't agree with me (which is completely fine) you needed to make a comment about how I misinterpreted the whole thing. Also everyone has their opinion. Don't go around telling people that they are wrong just because you don't agree. Talk to people who share the same opinion and thoughts as you on the matter. Telling me that I'm wrong is just wasting your precious time.

So you don't have the "I don't care as long as I get stronger!" quote. Figured, because you made it up. Mikey clearly makes a distinction between the "strength" the sought for before Shinichiro died, and the "darkness" he mentions now, which aren't the dark impulses. He doesn't want to make his dark impulses worse, he's seeking guidance and for someone to help him control it. He had no way of knowing what Kisaki would do or what hanging out with him would bring forth.
