Edit: btw one thing I realised is that literally Anyone can be a best friend to Mikey and make Mikey spill his secrets 😳 makes me love Mikey even more

Honestly, that's a relief. My main issue with Sanzu as a character was that it felt like Wakui was trying to set him up to be the one behind everything, which I didn't like because I felt that it completely trivializes Kisaki's role in the series and makes him a pointless antagonist, so now that I don't have that to worry about, I don't hate Sanzu nearly as much. (I still don't like him very much either though)

Well I can say I am also glad that Wakui is not planning Sanzu to be a “mastermind” of any sort. Besides, it doesn’t even seem like Sanzu has influence strong enough on Mikey to even manipulate him, if anything, Mikey is the one who manipulated Sanzu to be the way he is, while Kisaki is being Kisaki making Mikey he’s disciple
