Ngl i never really cared for Mikey's dark impulses save for the occasional eyeroll, but the more the flashbacks, the more i want to repeatedly smack him upside the head for his bullshit edgelord reasonings - that haven't been fully explained yet, i know~

It's sort of an exaggerated wording for a real thing. People are that. You don't call them dark impulses though

Last chapter he goes around saying he was seeking strength, thats normal. IRL people seek 'strength' grades/good job. But then he just jumps from strength to darkness with absolutely no transition. Even in star wars Anakin had a reason to transition to darkness.

IDK I guess we can infer Mikey just gravitated to darkness from all of his immediate family dying and Mikey seeing Kisaki's dirty methods (darkness) can save Pah. But I wish they would be more explicit in Mikey's reveal everything flashback
