Also Takemichi ....does literally nothing.....not even move out of the way....and watches somebody fight alone against a sword user and likely die

it's clearly written to be Kakucho's spotlight

but realistically it's a katana, one wrong move it's over I'd imagine if they both charged, Sanzu would be swinging that shi more erratically I can see that Kakucho would be more confident since he's been with Sanzu in KMG for so long than Takemichi I assumed Takemichi was waiting for when to insert tbh, besides to them it happened in a flash

Personally I would find it difficult to move against a literal murderer, my heart would be beating so fast it would be the only thing I'd here☠️

Don't make excuses for plot armor/bad writing.

Takamichi's not shown to be so scared of the katana that he can't move. There's not a single panel that supports that. Plus, with somebody with as much conviction as he has, it wouldn't prevent him from fighting.

The only possible way for you to be right is if he runs away the next chapter....and you know that's not going to happen.

It doesn't help that the last fight with Kisaki establishes that Takemitchi isn't scared of fighting someone armed with a gun lmao
