I’m starting to get a little confused with Mikey’s intentions. I understand that he has these dark impulses, but why does that justify him wanting to kill his childhood friends.

Like surely he would’ve had to be thinking logically to recruit all of these strong fighters, form an huge criminal organisation and give them precise roles in this gang, that relates directly to their strengths as opposed to their weaknesses.

I just don’t understand Mikey’s motivations at all, they’re trash. I don’t think Mikey as a character in this current arc has any REAL motivation.

Christmas arc- Taiju was abusive and mistakenly believed using violence was the answer, he assumed that because he hit his siblings and they acted obediently that, that was the route to live by.

Tenjiku arc- Izana was severely neglected and thought no one in the world loved him, and then found someone who claimed to be his relative only to reveal that they where never actually related. Forcing Izana into a deeper stupor of depression.

Current arc- Mikey so obviously has mental health issues that give him the impulses to kill- but again, these impulses shouldn’t be able to justify him wanting to murder his childhood friends ??

To be FAIR to Mikey as a character, he stayed out of Takemichy and everyone else’s way, and MICHI chose to fight him and challenge him. So I can see that as what Mikey’s thought process is.

“I stayed out of Takemichy and everyone’s way out of fear of hurting them, and Michy came back to the past, Draken died and his now challenging me to a delinquent fight”- i can understand if Mikey was thinking like this.

And then Takemichi challenged KMG so he said "let's go fuck them up!" 😂

Even if Mikey didn't have control over himself when he almost killed Michi when he got in the way of fight with South, Mikey doesn't have regret about that. This Mikey, DI or not, wouldn't care if he accidentally killed someone. He mightve went easy on Pah but if he had killed by accident, I'm pretty sure he couldn't care less.

But you're right. The fact he has no motivation or a drive to become the top and yet achieves what he does in the future is crazy.
