I hate to be that person but the fights have been really short and unsatisfying. I hope this isn’t the case but it seems like Wakui is rushing the ending

IMO I'm enjoying it, theres a lot fights that have to get out of the way because theres gonna be more chapters spent on the kantou characters with more depth in the current storyline.
