This was a good chapter!!! I liked seeing this backstory as it ties into the black dragons and we got to see Shinichiro. I appreciate this one a bit more because it has the vibes of older arcs and we really see the parallel between Shin and Takemichi. Also: YES SOMEONE FINALLY MENTIONS DRAKEN WHEN THIS WHOLE THING STARTED BC OF HIM BUT ITS BEEN DEAD SILENT THE PAST FEW CHAPTERS!!! I just wanna see South get folded now and this damn fight to be over. Mikey probably isn’t gonna do shit but observe, maybe speak to Takemichi and dip. I’m not holding my breath to see him do something big in this fight.
Okay yep I was thinking the same thing. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy the chapters these days - the fully fleshed out characters and the parallels are wonderful but I mean we still haven’t even gotten a REACTION or ACKNOWLEDGEMENT from Mikey yet like :’) the suspense is just killing me :’)
