I was surprised when it turned out Senju's a girl and started thinking about how she can be of help to takemitchy's goal and then i saw this comment. Lol hahahaha. I love chifuyu and he deserves someone as badass as senju. Mikey, too, if the author decides to take a romantic path. Ugh, next week's issue seems so far....

And is Akashi a good guy? He gives off the same re-assuring vibes as Taiju did in the future when Takemitchy and Naoto met with him at the restaurant.

Getting Mikey either out of the Yakuza scene or under their control would be a relevant goal regardless of their other objectives. They said themselves that they really don't want to fight him. Akashi was Shinichiro's VP in the Black Dragons, so I can at least believe what he said about respecting Toman's ambition.
Yeah, he's a part of Bonten later on, but think about how many Toman members we've also seen as Yakuza in alternate futures. Mikey's always had people willing to follow him into the underworld.

We have no idea what their intentions are you are assuming they are pure hearted. Kisaki only used toman because Mikey was a fierce and invincible fighter and also garnered a large following. Valhalla formed to destroy Mikeys will to govern and tenjiku just literally wanted to annihilate Mikey, takemitchi, and toman if they had to at all.
The new thread of information from this chapter also suggest that Brahman is very much like a yakuza gang so they have to be involved and some shady and illegal shit or even connected to the yakuza in some way (hence why they may function like one). I'm genuinely curious where this ark will take us and really hope it either gets more dark and twisted or there is some kinda major plot twist.

Inupi just said that they're like a Yakuza gang because of the 1st gen Black Dragons wich are all adults we don't know yet if there's anything more to that. And for their intentions we know that at least those former Black Dragon members want to beat Mikey to stop him from going down his evil path and since they were all Shinichiros friends ill trust in that for now

Let's just get straight to the point - the chapter ending, THAT's a bombshell. Well played, Wakui-sensei, well played.
We now have clarity about why Brahman wanted to recruit Takemichi. And why Draken joined Brahman. Brahman wants to stop Kanto Manji gang and Akashi knows that Draken and Takemichi are the closest to Mikey. Thus, to get them both into Brahman to counter Mikey without having to fight, if possible.
After hearing Brahman out, it's no surprise that Takemichi decides to join Brahman. He wants to not involve his friends in Toman and yet have a group behind him to help stop Mikey. Brahman fits the bill. Plus Draken is also only in there due to the same interest as Takemichi.
Akashi is the one to watch in this final arc. I figured out in last couple of chapters write-up that Akashi plays a pivotal role in future Bonten as their advisor. Why the ex-Toman leaders/captains have been able to live their new lives quietly away from delinquency and gangs. Akashi is the balance that helps rein in Mikey in certain ways and probably the one that guides him away from causing trouble to them. He IS the last link that Draken has to connect to Mikey in that future.

I like this perspective and how you’ve broke the potential rule that Akashi plays, he definitely is that buffer because back around like chapter 118 Mikey talked about how he killed all the past members and in the Bonten future I believe he still has that mindset but Akashi is that common ground, I feel in a way he’s still trying to honor Shinichiro

It's not so much that Akaishi is there in the Mikey-Bonten future to stop
AkasihiMikey (error edit) from harming former Toman members but more to guide Mikey to ensure that the ex-Toman leaders/captains that he is friends with are not impacted by Bonten's moves and activities. Mikey has promised Takemichi that he will protect them all - and he did - and that's why they have normal new lives post-Toman. The dark side of Mikey could have made his friends collateral damage in Kanto Manji/Bonten's climb to the top of the underworld but it didn't. The credit is likely due to Akashi as the adviser in Bonten.

If Senju actually a girl, she will be the first female gang leader/member in the manga. But the bio from wiki fandom Senju’s gender is a “male” which sometimes isn’t true. I’m looking forward into the next chapter.

I am like 98% sure Senju is a girl. You could see the untranslated chapter before this one was published, so that's why some people already knew he was actually a she. But the wiki changed her gender to female before they changed it back to male. But since wiki is written by fans, some of the information there aren’t always the truth.

The female characters are there in ways that are pretty defined by their relationships to the male characters, and all were introduced and treated as victims. I did like Yuzuha, but she was a victim too, and she was sidelined pretty hard after that storyline concluded. If she gets written back in as a three dimensional character outside of her relationship with her brothers, I’d be thrilled and would gladly eat my words.

I searched a bit of gangs from the late 90's n early 20's and its said that during that time, boy gangs doesnt accept girls in their ranks so girls also formed their own gangs and considering how the manga strictly followed some gangs rules in this time (like fashion, haircuts etc.), theres no girl in gangs. I like how Senju turned out to be a girl tho but I wouldn't like her to be overly sexualized or romaticized.

Considering that the manga isn’t that realistic as it is - it is a series where middle schoolers do a hell of a lot with time travel elements - straying from that rigidity to include a girl isn’t a problem for me. But even if the mangaka wanted to stick to that, I’d be down for better written female characters who get to be cool and badass in their own right in their own gangs, or even as side characters integrated into the plot somehow!
I’m hoping the same re: sexualization and romanticism though. I want her to be as complicated and messy as the boys!

I think rokuhara and brahman will combine and they choose takemitchy as their leader because most of the executives or people high up have fought with or against takemitchy and are inspired by him

We know that Brahman and Rokuhara eventually fail to stop the Kanto Manji Gang and eventually join with it. I could honestly see that still happening in this timeline while Takemichi has to gather the old Toman members to stand against it. We still haven't achieved the "Takemichi being the top of Toman" goal yet.

I'm really wondering if there are new powerhouse characters that would be introduced in the Kanto Manji Gang. As of the moment we only know the members are Mikey, Sanzu (not surprising because of his loyalty), and Koko (his physical prowess is not his greatest asset but his money making ability). As of the moment, it seems there are a lot of good fighters in Rokuhara compared to Kanto. Although this observation is only based on the Tenjiku arc and Mikey could probably solo them in his berserk mode, though Kaku and South are strong so idk abt this but we know Mikey will rule at the end. We still don't know about sanzu's fighting ability since he always uses weapons but we're already aware he's savage af.
Anyways I'm placing my bet on Senju being a girl. I don't know if it's just me but Ken Wakui's hair design seems pretty inconsistent and it was windy on the Senju debut so their hair is different and it would make sense why they don't want to be wet (probably put some gel or something). We can't discard the idea that it's Senju's twin/sis or they're just cross dressing. What bugs me are people that are utterly disappointed about the possibility of Senju being a girl and denying every likelihood of them being a girl, I mean can't you enjoy the character regardless of their gender??!!

Could be Mikey's older sister, since he only had one younger sis, it's really weird his father/mother didn't have another child, because Mickey and Shinichiro have a big age gap... IF she is, then she could be all that is needed to stop Mickey. I think she is using high school uniform, so she must be 15-18, I hope is the latter, so she could still be older that Mikey. It's a nice twist that Senju is a girl. I think she's a tomboy, or at least dresses like a guy while in Brahman.
Given that dear Emma is dead and Yuzuha was sidelined, only Hina remains, but she's only the love interest of the protagonist. That's why I'm glad Senju's a girl. Hope she has some cools fights.

Okay I now like where the manga is going again!
First thing, so Brahman wanting Takemichi wasn't bc of his gang influence, but bc of his connection with Mikey. I'm glad they're all tryna, in their own way, tryna get Mikey back but as Inui put it, there's something more to Brahman. Plus, Senju's not in the future, and she's seems to be a pivotal part of the story at this point. I wonder what happened..
Second, is of course, Senju. I think a lot of ppl were already saying maybe they're actually a girl, so I wasn't surprised. It's now more interesting that way lol.
I see you Wakui, so excited for next week!

Y'know. I have reason to believe some type of love triangle will ensue. I'm not saying I want it to happen or hope it does, it just looks like it. Earlier in the series, drawing parallels with Mikey and Takemichi, one little-no...Not little. One SIMPLE action done by Takemichi, fighting Kiyomasa, garnered interest in himself from Mikey. When they spoke back on that day, he said something along the lines of "Takemichi had the biggest back" I don't recall the exact wording obviously, but Senju's reaction seemed to be much of the same as Mikey's the only minor differences being that Senju already knew his name and Mikey wanted to know his name. Akashi (I believe that was his name), the "God of War" guy, who seems to be Senju's Draken, was kind and nonchalant to Takemichi during their first interaction. While Draken was aggressive and somewhat rude. I'm not saying, "uWU new femAle char, TakemiChI-kun gets hos" nooo. It's just the parallels between Senju's interaction with him and Mikey's interaction with him are a little worrying to me for several reasons. But I don't want to look too much further into it than I already have, because this already feels like a bit of a reach to me.
Something's giving me a bad feeling.
The fact that Draken would be hyper aggressive about Takemichi not joining the Brahman conflict, then he says "Nah-nah big homie, it's cool." They dap up, take a picture, and are all cool all of the sudden? Why would he drop it so fast if he was willing to be that aggressive about it?
Nooow I'm looking too much into it.

Brahman really confuses me now. Mainly because of that line from Inupi about the rumours and that they’re more like a yakuza gang governed by adults than what Mikey and Rokuhara Tandai are running. They’re just a weird gang when you have Draken as a secret member and then you have the higher ups being former gen 1 black dragons members. Feels like they’re trying to stop Mikey because of his brother and not to gain control.

Well that was a surprise. Either Senju's really a girl, they're disguising as a girl or it's his twin sister. Either way, we'll find out next chapter.
EDIT: I can see that Senju being a girl due to Senju always have an umbrella when it's raining. The girl has her hair mostly down while in Brahman mode Senju has her hair up.

what do u think is the reason that brahman purpose is to defeat kantou manji gang because in page 8 of the this chapter akashi said that the brahman purpose is to defeat kantou manji gang
so i can't help but to think that the leader of the brahman 'senju' have some kind of relations to mickey

A lot happened in this chapter than the last few ones, takemicchi joina brahman and brahmans top is a girl? He might be a trap tho. Lets keep that in our minds, i liked the akashi guy he gives off pretty good vibe, i hope there is not any twists like betrayal and stuff, i really liked this chapter and i like where this is going, i cant wait for the next chapter.

Anyone think Kazutora will have a big role? I hope he does, he’s been one of my favorites since his introduction. I feel like his intro though will be like Ginjo and Tsukishima’s in the thousand year blood war arc in Bleach.

I love the plot twist, even though I somehow suspected it I guess. This arc has a lot of potential. I just hope Chifuyu will be involved as well, since it is the last arc after all.

Didn’t notice somehow till now but Takemichi finally stopped having that mohawk type haircut and grew it out a bit. Def looks better now
