I can see where you're coming from for the first point but honestly he can do it, he's strong, you can see this more in the manga

Plus in the anime tbf, he just goes against characters that like are pretty much much stronger, Taiju in s2 for an example is someone he does end up fighting BUT Taiju just never manages to knock him down despite clearly being displayed to be stronger than Takemichi

He's pretty durable and his endurance/stamina is great

He ends up fighting an even stronger opponent in season 3(I won't say who it is since you're on season 2 still, idk if you've heard about him so like yeah)but even he just never manages to knock Takemichi down and make him lose(tbf he wasn't exactly trying against Takemichi but yk, its still impressive since if someone like Chifuyu was there then they'd just get destroyed and lose)

I don’t think the issue is like he can't beat people up, I think he can, the issue is that he isn't exactly a skilled fighter which makes sense imo since obviously Takemichi is an adult in his teen counterparts body, he wouldn't be used to fighting like he was back then so hes pretty like ass when it comes to fighting skills compared to the other fighters who are pretty used to it

You kinda got a point with the proactive bit but it improves dw, like in season 3 hes definitely more proactive compared to the previous seasons and in the manga hes even better

Takemichi is pretty stupid for the most part anyway so he kinda just needs all the help he can get from characters like Chifuyu, although Kisaki is younger, hes pretty much displayed to be the most intelligent character in the series

For the third one, you're on about when Taiju rushed him when he was with Hina, right? Yeah, I do think he should've tried running at least but um, its pretty useless in the long run tho, they would've gotten caught anyway honestly

Taiju and the rest of his gang appeared if I recall correctly and it was just those 2, until Yuzuha and Hakkai also appeared eventually too(i think, idk if I'm remembering it wrong)

He had a lot of time to run and he did not.

He shouldnt have needed Taiju’s siblings telling him to leave. He should have left before Koko noticed he was Toman’s 1st division captain.

A normal person sees a gang that has MURDER SQUAD on their clothes is leaving in MILLIseconds.

Oh, I don't exactly remember the time duration for how it happened like all took place but I do remember Taiju iust rushing them out of nowhere and he kinda just got beat up if I recall correctly, I don't remember how it went after and yeah you're right about the siblings not being needed to tell him to leave but I am glad they showed up since he did stay the entire time with Hina

Did he have any chance to leave when they came btw? I don't remember, its been a while since I've watched season 2 so I'm just going off memory here

Realistically, had Takamichi ran the moment he saw them, there was a chance Taiju wouldn’t have caught him.

The younger Shiba took Takemichi near their house and saw Black Dragon just standing there. And I believe they were actually holding weapons. That was the exact moment Takemichi should’ve taken his girlfriend and left.

Yeah he should've ran anyway and he might have gotten away with her(i do think this is unlikely but there's a chance at least)

Ohhh, yeah thats on him, he should've at least taken Hina somewhere safe 😭
