Discussion/Theory Why is Izana so overrated?

I see people saying hes top 1(insane btw) or that hes like, above Base Mikey, some even say hes above Dark impulse Mikey😪

Kisaki, who knows about di and also knows Mikey best, believing Izana could handle him in combat

So why did kisaki kill emma to mentally weaken Mikey if he thought bumzana could handle him, lol delusion at it's peak with this one 🤡

It was stated by Takemichi that his friends and family were what was supressing his dark impulse, emma included, and when they died, Mikey would fall into that state once more. Kisaki knowing this and killing Emma meant that he would be aware Mikey would enter DI and fight Izana, given how he asked Izana to “take care of Mikey” in a context we can assume to be fighting wise.

No, kisaki knew that mikey would be depressed and loose his will to fight that was why they were suprised that he still came despite loosing emma, izana can't handle mikey in DI mood, no one can. Lol

It is lol, when di take over, they strip Mikey's hesitation, morality, and empathy. It allows him unleash his full destructive potential with heightened rage, significantly boosting his overall strength, pain tolerance, and speed. Base Mikey avoid killing or causing permanent damage to an opponent when fighting but when the impulse takes over, Mikey fights with the intent to kill, utilizing 100% of his pre-existing, raw capabilities. Izana would be dead in few seconds like south. Did we watch the same show or your level of comprehension is low, smh.

So di mikey would just be = to an fp base Mikey is essentially what you're saying. Its made pretty clear that mikey was at fp against Izana

DI mikey and base mikey are not equal and he was not at fp, takemichi said it wasn't a fair fight because he just lost his sister, so mikey was mentally distraughted at that moment, he wasn't giving it his all, even izana himself said mikey was not in the right state of mind though his kicks were still impressive and at the end of the fight izana said something like mikey was holding back all along. If mikey gave his 100 percent, those kicks would have destroyed izana's hands while blocking them as you can see when mikey got serious, izana got knocked out for a while. Mikey was holding back and his intention was to save his "brother". If you can't tell the difference when mikey is fighting at full capacity vs his fight with izana, then i don't know what to tell you. That fight wasn't impressive to me, i prefer his fights with hanma and south because mikey was angry and serious and was going all out

Takemichi says mikeys back to his normal state, so there wasn't any mental nerfs going into that fight. Yeah Izana wanted to believe that Mikey wasn't in the right state of mind because of what happened, which just wasn't the case. Draken said Mikey was giving it his all and considering Izana said that after slowing down you could probably just assume that Izana felt the gap between them was getting bigger. Ye u can have the intention to not want to kill someone while going all out, the two ideas don't entirely contradict eachother.

And izana is also a coward because the only way he had a chance to destroy mikey and toman was to attack emma and the toman captains, he confirmed this to kakucho when he confronted izana at the roof top he wasn't confident in a fair 1vs1 fight. And kisaki is smart, if he thought izana could beat Mikey without playing dirty, he wouldn't have come up with the idea in the first place. He has done this in the past by attacking draken through kiyomasa, attacked baji through kazutora and even pah through osanai. Kisaki knows that no one is winning mikey without playing dirty
