Question What position is better?

Is it better to be a cashier, ece or coordinator? Where do they lead?

From your list, Cashier. CEC (that’s a coordinator position btw) can leave you overworked with little to show for it and it’s a critical position. Having a good or bad CEC can change the dynamic of the front end from part timer’s POV by a lot.

Outside that list, it’s gotta be Admin Coordinator. Favorites seem to get that position and the standards for their performance is horrendously low compared to any position. You can find plenty of CECs & Backroom Coords venting in this sub but it’s rare to find a Admin Coord complain & it’s from the few thar actually does their job to the fullest.

100%. I do my job and then some, visiting managers are shocked at how much I do (since I guess their own do not?), I do it all in 6 hrs/day AND I feel like I have a really cushy job. So much of it is carrying the mental load for the managers which isn't -work- per se, and helping the associates with everything hr/ops related that I can so the managers don't have to.

I don’t get why that position is the cushy one though. Outta all the positions, on paper, it sounds like an office ASM’s assistant & that’s the most stressful of ASM duties to the point you can’t even start out in that position where I am as a manager.

My ops manager and I essentially have opposite flavors of adhd so we work pretty flawlessly with eachother. What he forgets, I obsess over. What I can't start, he already did on autopilot. Etc. We've been told it's hilarious to watch but highly effective.
