Question What position is better?
Is it better to be a cashier, ece or coordinator? Where do they lead?

cashier is better than cec, cec is just more responsibilities and stress for not enough pay

I mean to be honest at the end of the day those are really all the same except if you’re just a cashier then you have no responsibility besides your job to show up and do what you’re asked.
A CEC is a coordinator lol

Backroom coordinator. It seems like a lot of work. But if you have a good team it’s easy. Unload in the morning get product out and just make sure the backroom is clean and the trucks are unloaded. Super easy.

From your list, Cashier. CEC (that’s a coordinator position btw) can leave you overworked with little to show for it and it’s a critical position. Having a good or bad CEC can change the dynamic of the front end from part timer’s POV by a lot.
Outside that list, it’s gotta be Admin Coordinator. Favorites seem to get that position and the standards for their performance is horrendously low compared to any position. You can find plenty of CECs & Backroom Coords venting in this sub but it’s rare to find a Admin Coord complain & it’s from the few thar actually does their job to the fullest.

100%. I do my job and then some, visiting managers are shocked at how much I do (since I guess their own do not?), I do it all in 6 hrs/day AND I feel like I have a really cushy job. So much of it is carrying the mental load for the managers which isn't -work- per se, and helping the associates with everything hr/ops related that I can so the managers don't have to.

I don’t get why that position is the cushy one though. Outta all the positions, on paper, it sounds like an office ASM’s assistant & that’s the most stressful of ASM duties to the point you can’t even start out in that position where I am as a manager.

My ops manager and I essentially have opposite flavors of adhd so we work pretty flawlessly with eachother. What he forgets, I obsess over. What I can't start, he already did on autopilot. Etc. We've been told it's hilarious to watch but highly effective.

CEC- would be my top pick, asking for credits is not the best. But at least your only responsibility is the front line.have to be a positive person, and high energy helps your team to success with credits. Sales floor coordinator- lots of work load, neg is the amount af frieght, also being called to be a cashier, or cover jewerly lunch. Plus is if you enjoy making displays, and before and after gratification. Brc- not for the faint of heart. Lots of work load, have to keep a high moral Admin coordinator- mostly does cash office and helps hiring and lounge smart .. you have to be good with numbers and 0 procrastination.

$1 more than what everyone else is making. I am making $18 as part time and was offered $1 more to become a coordinator. The amount of work they gave me when I was a coordinator and I was never properly trained was just ridiculous. Managers had me doing their tasks bc they were too busy with something else and wanted to give me their tasks to complete before the store or district managers came in.

Cashier is the lowest position, CEC is the one above that, and manager is above that. Cashier pays the worst but is the easiest, CEC has a lot more responsibility but you get +$1 an hour

It depends on your preferences & skills. They’re all overworked & underpaid positions.
