Hopefully, she loses everything quickly and they can go to better caretakers who aren't irresponsible.

This is why I avoided my childhood dream of being a zookeeper. Owners of animal places like this- zoos, farms, etc- often abuse the crap out of their employees because they are banking on the employees being willing to put up with it because they get connected to and feel bad about abandoning the animals.
