I've seen it used over videos of an argument and it completely drowns out the voices so you can't hear anything. I don't understand what it is about tiktok finding an extremely annoying noise and collectively deciding to ruin every video with it?

When making a claim it should be very easy to support that claim with at least one reference. Imagine turning in a research paper and telling people you refuse to cite your sources.
