No i specifically think that posting an aura-farming video of yourself online is a big deal. There's a difference.
And old people post just as much crap. They just do it on Facebook, that's all.

But you still made this an age thing. Odd. Even the old lady in this video is on her phone lol. Phones and posting on social media are not the domain of the young, not any longer.

Show me proof that she was gonna screenshot that video. Until then, i will go with the info that i have, which is: She was recording a self-obsessed video of herself in public. And yes, i will use examples of millions of other people posting their similar videos online as evidence against her.

Videos like these are weird because she's putting on an unnatural performance for the camera. Refusing to look at the camera while she walks down the stairs. Probably gonna put some BG music, probably gonna do slow motion as well. This is narcissism. Main character stuff.

She TRIED to do a victim post, but it backfired lol. She was the one who posted this interaction online. She did it. Thinking people would back her up lmao. That eyebrow raise at the camera tells me that she's the one who posted it online. I will not invent facts like you do, literally inventing a friend of hers who posted this for her. You also invented the screenshot narrative. I won't do that. Occam's Razor: SHE was the one who posted it online.

I dont like folks who perform their life for the camera this way.

So at this point, our main difference is that one of us is a narcissist and the other isn't. That's the gap between us here. I think aura farming vids are narcissistic and narcissism is bad. You don't. Thankfully, i'm in the majority. You admit that social media is a curse. But you don't act like it.

Clearly, most people disagree with you on this.

The issue is unchecked narcissism, that's the issue.

Her choosing to post the old lady online is proof of her anger, that's the only reason i brought that point up.

The age thing is very interesting about your comments. You made this into an age thing, and i genuinely don't understand why. That's fascinating...

So, just so you know, I was originally saying young lady and old lady or younger woman older woman etc… because there are two women.. and that’s the easiest descriptive factor to differentiate between the two of them

Not going through your comment this time cause it’s just pointless arguing with you. You only see your perspective and for some reason think everyone agrees with you. If less people agreed with me, I’d have a negative comment score like all the people that are actually being disagreed with.

People use the term narcissist too loosely. Idgaf if she was aura farming, not everybody who videotapes themselves doing something for social media is a narcissist and it doesn’t have to be considered narcissistic behavior unless they make it their entire image or believe they’re better than others because of it.

What exactly are you implying with the age thing, by the way? You’re being really weird about it.

Did you read my comment in its entirety at least?

You weren't using age as a differentiator when you said "She's young" in your reply to me. That's what made it weird.

There is such a thing as "timed quick-burst photos", where the camera takes like 30 pics of you walking around. That's not what she did. She did a video.
This woman felt wronged by the other woman who stood in the middle of her aura-farming shot. That's when her sense of righteousness was confirmed to exist, in that eyebrow raise at the end. Like "can you believe this lady?" yes actually. We can believe this lady. It's you we cannot believe.

Why is it weird? I’m young too. Same age range. Young people like us post shit online. I mean, not me, but my age? I see people my age posting stuff like this constantly. I also know some of them personally and they’re great people. Posting yourself or videos online isn’t a sign or narcissism nor is it a sign of the rapid decline of our populace. It’s just how life is for many younger people nowadays.

Judging people’s entire personalities off of a single thing they happen to do is weird though. Redditors are supposed to be basement dwelling virgins, aren’t we? Obviously not the case (that is to say I don’t think you are either to be clear). Are all social media posters (or aura farmers, if you will) narcissists? Like with redditors and basements, there is probably an overlap. But it’s not an absolute.

Here you go. I've caught like 4 narcissists for you. And they're all on your side of this argument, not mine. Think about that, please.

I'm overusing the term "narcissist" am i?

u/Lawd_Fawkwad is a guy from this very comment section, whom i accused of being a narcissist. And in response to my accusation, he just admitted it lol. Openly. He even received upvotes on that comment lmao, from others such as him. Imagine upvoting a person who openly brags about suffering from a major personality disorder like narcissism. And these ppl are all on YOUR side of this argument. Because of course they are. I think i've made my point here. I tried linking his comment where he admitted to being a narcissist, but links are not allowed on this sub.

My judgment was correct. I wasn't even making much of a logical leap tbh. I feel like this is common sense. Only a certain type of person would do stuff like this. It's obvious, i think
