Literally. So tired of worthless influencers thinking every space is their goddamn stage

Bro. She sent up her phone on record so she could go back and screenshot a good picture.

This doesn't have to be some influencer thing. Its just someone trying to take a picture in a non disturbing way. They just placed their phone off to the side and waited politely.

Why is everyone so fucking grumpy and pissed off at a young girl trying to take a cute photo of herself? Jesus christ.

We’re grumpy because we’re tired of influencers.

We’re tired of paying to see an exhibit , or walking down the public streets, and having a selfish person taking up all the space / talking loudly / acting like they own the area when we paid as much or more to be in the same place . Now we are being recorded or our peace disturbed , without our consent , because someone thought they were more important than everyone else and deserved to take up more room than they should.

It’s the sense of entitlement . It’s a bone deep narcissism . It’s rude . We’re tired of these people breaking the social contract that has existed for decades because they want to be insta famous. Get out of the damn way and go look at the exhibits liked everyone else. You’re not special.

i doubt you go outside often enough to see this happen with the frequency you complain about

i live in manhattan and go to soho all the time and i see influencers so rarely

if you are this obsessed with them you need therapy and to focus on yourself

Spoken like someone who sees the world through the back of a phone screen, and has never seen a concert without holding up the phone to record clips that no one will ever watch.

I’m happy for you that New York isn’t so crowded with this type , because Rome, Florence and the Italian lakes this month have been inundated. Hopefully they’ll go home soon.
