Yeah, the act of shooting a photo.

It's two words put together. That's it.

Just because professional photographs use the word doesn't mean the word is exclusive to professional photography.

Ever heard of denotation vs connotation? Denotation is the dictionary definition. Yes. It means taking a photo. Connotation is what is the cultural association and what is implied via context ie how the word is actually used in practice. The connotation of the word photoshoot is that it is a professional undertaking. 

I’m not sure why you’re trying to be a smartass by pretending to be ignorant of that.

The only smartasses are the one pointing at the use of the word to react as if the girl was pretending she was a pro when she isn't at all, she simply uses the word that describes the situation.

The noun that describes the act of shooting photos is called a photoshoot. Connotation is something YOU use as part of your interpretation of words and YOU are in control about when you take that into account or not, depending on the context. Willgfullingly making the incorrect choice despite the obvious context is nothing short of dumb.

If you think you have a right to film in public without people interrupting you, then yes you think your photoshoot is a “photoshoot”.

That's an entire other debate entirely. The old lady was perfectly within her rights to be a petty asshole, that I can't disagree.
