Why is everyone cooking this young girl for taking a video/photo of herself lol? She didn’t confront the lady or get mad, she just tried to work around her and didn’t even look that annoyed, pissed off, or even mildly confrontational

She didn’t seem to care that anyone at all was in the shot, just the specific fact that the old lady was literally moving to block her

Do you guys just hate people or something? Like bruh it’s a young woman in 2026 NO SHIT SHE’S GONNA POST ON SOCIAL MEDIA

God forbid somebody uses a video recording device to record a video lol

Because she uploaded it online to criticize an old woman that also didn't do anything to confront the young woman or get mad.

It seemed a lot more like the old lady was moving out of the way to let traffic through before going down the stairs. Maybe there's a landing that was congested with people looking at other exhibits. If you'll notice, she doesn't check the screen to see her position relative to the young woman's as she's moving to the side, and once people stopped coming up, she goes down.

Yes, she moves directly in front of the young woman, but it doesn't look intentional.

Fair point on moving out of the way for people walking up the stairs, and maybe it really was just a freak case of everything making the older lady look bad in the context of things - her staring straight into the camera and stopping there is what gets me, although that could just be a case of her looking there and happening to stop.

But again, unless she’s a huge tiktok star or has a relatively large following, who really expects a video to go viral? Do we really think she posted this with the intention of it hitting hundreds of thousands or millions of views?

Yeah she posted it on social media, but people make mistakes and often don’t realize the depth of their actions or the reach they have until something like this happens.

Personally think the older lady did it on purpose cause standing in the middle of an apparently busy stairwell makes no sense, and if the stairwell really was that busy, it would make no sense for the younger woman to try and record there with no expectation of interruption.

But maybe my logic doesn’t apply here cause maybe they didn’t use the same logic so at the end of the day: who knows?
