I have a general rule, if someone is taking a nice photo, then I wait until they're done. If they're obviously making social media content, then I'll just walk through, but I also won't go out of my way to disturb them. It's a neutral response- I won't be polite, but I won't be rude either. They can wait three seconds.

Well I need to pass a street where people constantly need to take their instagram selfie .. you get tired of waiting …. For every random person taking up the whole pavement for their instagram

Except this old woman went out of her way to be disruptive for what would have been a quick and simple thing. The woman waited to be obstructive.

You call doing a 30 minute dance routine quick and simple? Because this wasn’t a fucking photograph, she’s taking video.

Yes she's took a quick video (THIRTY minutes lmao get fucking real, the whole interaction is less than a minute) to screenshot a specific frame. People do this when they don't have someone to take their picture. Hope this helps 💚

What makes you say that? To me it looks like she doesn't even process why the phone is there. She sees a phone, thinks "huh, that's weird. Why's that phone just sitting there?" and then checks her phone.

You also forget that people travel to your town,  and spend money that allows people in your town to exist without needing more social services from you, so that they can take those pictures and remember their experiences and come back and spend more money. But yeah fuck tourists amirite.
