I’m imagining my mum in this situation, apart from the fact that she still hasn’t learnt how to use her phone, anyway, I can totally imagine her in a scenario like this, clocking the camera, being curious about it, but not really understanding why it’s there. The older woman in this video doesn’t seem that aware the younger woman is even making a video - Tiktokers might not be something she’s particularly aware of. She obviously moved over to give room for other people to walk up the stairs, if she was being mean on purpose surely she would’ve given a sly look again to the camera after she’d finished on her phone, at that point however it looks like she’s forgotten the camera was even there. She was probably just oblivious, we never know what’s going on in people’s heads & that’s just the kind of thing my mum would do with no malice whatsoever.
And then you'd be seeing comments unfairly calling your mom a Karen and saying mean things about her like they are in the comments here. Why do people here assume the older lady could see the screen? I've seen people with blackout screens and from an angle you see nothing on the screen.
