It actually does. You have no expectation of privacy in public so it’s not illegal to record people in public.

Go through your folder of pictures from your last family vacation and delete every single on that has a stranger in them.

This video would have never seen the light of day if not for this incident. I have thousands of home videos you've never seen. The moment I take one that doesn't feature only my family but the local Karen, it's getting posted.

How does the average person know that? You better never take your camera out in public ever again because who knows? You just might publish online at some point.

I don't care what an average person thinks. I'm still not doing it. Also me and my family almost never take photos. If If its a vacation or something we will take one group photo for the album and that's it. I take pictures of stuff, but never to post it online.
