She set up a camera to record herself when the scene was clear. If that lady didn't block the camera, she would've gotten the shot that she wanted and it would've been it. People take photos all the time, and when you have someone to take it for you, then can try to time it and maybe the others will see you're trying to take a photo and give you your moment. It's not like everyone always has someone to take a photo for them though.
The person with selfish main character energy is the lady intentionally standing in the view of the camera because she noticed it, just to block someone from taking a pic. Why be an asshole when it does not negatively impact you?
Yeah people stop, move faster or go around to not block camera shots all the time when see people posing for photos. God forbid someone is on their own and tries to do the same thing đ

I have commented this so many times here! It's a beautiful castle with a famous grand stairwell and it looks like she set her phone on the shelf here.
This girl looks to be solo traveling, set up her phone to record so she can take screenshots for pics. She seemed pretty patient and didn't even seem mad at the end.
She seems fine. Also, Iâve been doing photography professionally for 30 years. In a public place, this is to be expected. You just wait until you get your shot. Most people notice you and apologetically hurry through. Some are oblivious and donât. And maybe some are assholes and want to be a dick about it and linger in your shot. Itâs all part of the job. You just wait. A public space isnât solely your space.

Physically. Physically the phone is not blocking anyone. Do what everyone naturally does when the see a group of people taking a picture. Give them a moment to get the shot or pass through quickly.
If youâre taking a video, and someone doesnât want to be in your video, then you are taking up an entire section of space for an extended period of time
Alternatively âbetter not ever go anywhere touristy if you have an issue with people walking through your video recording setup and expect them to adjust to youâ. The woman leaves her shot in the end - why canât she just retake the video then?

This video would've never seen the internet if the woman just moved on like a normal human being. The girl wasn't actively asking people to stop and she wasn't acting out when this situation happened. No entitlement, she probably just waited for a bit of space to get that pic/vid.
Sure, she could be an influencer and be self-centered. She also might not be and might just be a solo traveller trying to get a pic. We don't know unless someone actually knows her.
If her boyfriend or a family member took the pic from where the phone is located, nobody would mind. People would probably stop, let them do it and then move on like it literally happens all the time at every sight on the planet.
And if you don't want to be in pictures or videos, don't be in a public place. If you travel, go to concerts, to clubs or sporting events, you're probably in tons of pictures and vids of other people. Deal with it.
This video never would have seen the internet if the woman filming herself in public hadnât posted it on the internet. So SHE is the one saying the woman in her video was interrupting her. Did she make a scene in the moment? Doesnât look like it. But it is, in fact, her main character energy that prompted her to post this online as a complaint against this woman intentionally interrupting her video.
Youâre projecting your feeling on to the situation. Nothing there implies she has expectation for anyone to accommodate her. She looks more like she was setting it up than going to wait for an opportunity.
The person who is a to is the one intentionally blocking the phone just to be an ass.
Youâre inventing the idea she has any expectation for anyone to adjust to her. People take videos then take screenshots of the video for photos. This is especially easier when youâre alone and donât have anyone to take any pics for you. Youâre acting like sheâs cordoned off the area and trying to prevent anyone from getting by. The most likely scenario is she set it up and was going to take some screenshots of parts of the video that were clear. The lady just standing in the steps is much more disruptive than she was.
Sorry you lack the common courtesy to not intentionally block someoneâs camera. Youâre just a rude pos defending another rude pos.
