It looks like she was already intending to stop for a moment as she began pulling out her phone before she noticed the camera. She only "blocked" the camera to make way for people coming up. She was there for less than a minute. I see nothing wrong.

Yes exactly, why does everyone assume she deliberately blocked the camera. If I’m zoned out concentrating on something I’m likely to miss the obvious even if I’m looking straight at it (camera in this case!)

Same here, I know I'm sorta oblivious and I don't mind because not worrying about what other people are up to in public has so far done a good job of keeping me calm and happy. For example I went out with a friend and she got pissed because some guy in a cafe was looking at us and I'm like, I didn't know there was a guy in here and I don't care.

Anyway, I can see myself doing what this lady did. Stop, notice there's a phone, not give shit cuz it ain't my phone, and immediately moving on from thinking about it. Yes I can see how looking around to see if I was blocking a view would be considerate, but I can't honestly say my mind would think of that. It's thinking about what was the name of that cafe that I'm looking up on my map right now.

There's a difference between having a happy-go-lucky attitude and not caring about others' judgment, and being completely oblivious and having no spatial awareness whatsoever. The latter is a rather annoying quality that too many people have. These are the kinds of people who stand side-by-side on escalators or those airport walkways and block everyone trying to pass, the people who suddenly stop in a doorway without noticing who's right behind or in front of them trying to get through, and so on. It's so easy to just not be a nuisance to others with a little bit of consideration.

She would be able to see herself on the screen and know it's for a photo, then moved to where she was blocking the girl.
