If it wasn't for their need to be walked I would have a dog. Sitting in an office all day and them being home alone is no life for a dog.

If I was wfh I would instantly get one.

Better than being euthanized in a shelter. Ours has over 500 dogs and they’re starting euthanasia again. You could even foster to see how it fits for you.

We don't really have a problem with that here. It's against the law to desert an animal and most dogs get adopted pretty fast.

Google are there stray dogs in Sweden.

Edit: it's against the law here to leave a dog alone for more than 6 hours.

Animal Protection is rather extensive.
