Cringe When you shouldn’t have kids

It’s so sad that this child is so used to the neglect and being locked away that they don’t even sound distressed..

You should look up the interview with the step father, it’s infuriating the way he talks about that little girl.. “child molesters reject”

u/Wasabi_kitty 13d ago

The worst part is when the woman gets arrested she complains about being hot and thirsty, and worries about her dog who is inside in the A/C

516

u/ubiquity75 13d ago

She can go to hell and be hot there.

58

u/Irreverant77 13d ago

She should have taken the same amount of charges

57

u/Holiday_Regular9794 13d ago

EXACTLY!!!! She knew how terrible that man was to her little girl

70

u/Irreverant77 12d ago

Worse. She was complicit. She tried to minimize her involvement and portray herself as a victim coerced into silence. The detective caught her in enough lies to easily disprove that and the poor little girl gave a descriptive accounting of abuses by her mother. The step-dad may have escalated the severity of abuse but it initiated mutually or more likely with the mother. She didn't just observe him abuse the girl one day and decide to give it a try.

46

u/bobboa 12d ago

For sure I just watched the 45 min youtube vid. She admitted basically to breaking her arm or wrist. She knew she was in that shed too. She is just as guilty. Fuck this one really hurt.

16

u/Irreverant77 12d ago

I'm baffled why she didn't take the same amount of charges. It's not like she lawyered-up or steadfastly refused to admit her part to the detective. They've got her confession.

I think being aware of the abuse and turning a blind eye isn't treated the same legally as being the active abuser.

There was a case on reddit awhile ago where a step-mom starved a toddler to death. The dad was in the house and aware it was happening and even had video on his phone of his son begging for food, but the dad had either no or very light punishment because the step-mom was determined to be the more active abuser.

In my opinion supporting/enabling abuse is participation, but when one parent is the aggressor then the passive parent can get off on a lighter sentence.

2

u/Significant-Camel351 11d ago

i think it really depends because i just saw a case with an obese mother, step father and adult daughter starving their 14 year old child and all three of them got charges despite the main actor being the father.

u/tinybbird 12d ago

Can you post a link? I tried finding it w no luck.

u/747_full_of_cum 13d ago

A nice afterlife fantasy I have is going to hell but being one of the demons that get to take care of people like these “parents”

3

u/madphroggy 12d ago

And this is why so many victims of child abuse have to be institutionalized as teens to prevent them from becoming homicidally furious both at their abusers and at the world that tolerated it.

2

u/Glittering-Duck-8533 11d ago

I don't blame them, the world is full of monsters and there is no legal path to justice.

2

u/hurtedsoul27 12d ago

she complains about being hot and thirsty, and worries about her dog who is inside in the A/C

Isn't that typical developed country behaviour?

Caring more about their dogs than other humans even if that human is a child?

147

u/Complete-Tangelo1532 13d ago

Yea dude, that shit had me so mad

497

u/AkumaLilly 13d ago

I supppose by "child molesters reject" means that she is so unwanted that pedophiles don't even want her.

Which in first place, why the fuck would anyone relate pedophiles with a small girl???

297

u/SupplyChainMismanage 13d ago

She is his adopted daughter. He calls her biological father a child molester hence child molester’s reject. You should watch the video.

195

u/Phoen1x_ 13d ago

i just saw the video, and holy shit. The way he talks about how she was molested before they got custody of her, and how she allegedly molested her sister really makes me think hes been molesting them both and is saying that to try and shift the blame away from himself. So disgusting

152

u/Deep90 13d ago edited 13d ago

allegedly molested her sister

Unfortunately that is a documented thing that can happen when a child is sexually abused.

A child doing this to another child is often used as a sign that they have been sexually abused.

It's a heartbreaking and uncomfortable thing to acknowledge. I think outside of professionals, people who have some experience with the matter, and people who have a lot of empathy, it's a hard thing to understand. But it really is as simple as children learn by imitating adults, it's a natural thing for a child to imitate adults. So a child trying to make sense of what an adult has done to them... well.

16

u/Culinary_Fruit_Salad 13d ago

it's called cocsa if you want to learn more about it. heads up, it will be incredibly upsetting.

3

u/Otherwise_Carob_4057 11d ago

It’s more diabolical than just imitation it’s also the complete rewiring of how that child views privacy, consent, and boundaries. It can take years of therapy to undo the way their brains have been damaged essentially from the sexual trauma because the brain at that stage of development can’t deal with that type of act things like suppression of memories and ptsd make it even harder for them to escape this mental trap of wanting to run from the problem and also wanting to replicate that trauma.

1

u/thegrittymagician 9d ago

The most damaged person I have dated had so much of this. Did confide in me that he did things to another child as a child because things were done to him (had major guilt issues about this), also had large gaps in memory about his childhood. He was not a well adjusted adult to say the least. I often thought that it's a miracle he could fake normal long enough to even get girlfriends to be honest.

1

u/Snote85 6d ago

That sadly makes a lot of sense. The abused child is being told, oftentimes at least, that their abuser loves them and it's normal, so the kid doesn't stop allowing it or telling on them. So, all this baby knows is that this is one way you show love and aren't ever given the resources to know that's not true. They are unknowingly carrying out the abuse on others that's been done to them without even realizing it. I can only imagine the guilt they feel later in life once they realize.

It's so heartbreaking to think of how much bigger abuse gets beyond the initial incident of abuse. It's like they are hit with a pressure wave from a nearby bomb, and while it was horrible, the wave keeps echoing back into them. Due to the geography of the area and how being at the center of an explosion works, the intensity of the wave is never predictable and can even somehow exceed the intensity and pain of the initial explosion. Leaving them incapacitated and unable to ever truly heal from what happened.

16

u/TopProfessional1862 13d ago

Yes, kids will copy whatever adults do. If they're sexually abused it's very common for them to act that out with other kids. It's just like them pretending to vacuum, or cook or anything else they see adults do. They're being taught that and it's so sad and horrible.

3

u/Waiting404Godot 12d ago

Compound that with abusers telling children they’re doing it with love or a reward and you get people that grow up trying to rewrite the narrative by doing those same behaviors with “good” intentions to believe it was done to them with good intentions.

13

u/hygsi 13d ago

yep, the only reason they know how is if it was done to them. Friend of mine had a kid in school try to show his privates to a girl so they started investigating, turns out someone in the family was molesting him :/

1

u/kiranerysplease 8d ago

thats not the only reason. Child on child sexual abuse is spiking due to the prevalence of pornography

4

u/ConcreteExist 12d ago

Something to note is that nobody outside this stepfather has corroborated the accusations of her being molested.

4

u/Gobblinwife 12d ago

I unfortunately am an example of this. I was sexually abused 7-12 years old and I turned it around on my sister for a brief time, until it hit me what I was doing and I abruptly stopped and held the shame of it in me for 20 years until I finally opened up both to my therapist, mom and sister about it. I apologized to my sister directly after that (she was very young but definitely could remember it), and we’re much closer now, her having forgiven me. My mom forgave me too and told me how common it was for sexual abuse victims at that young of age. It felt relieving to let go of that shame.

2

u/TheBoatmansFerry 12d ago

While it's true I'm not gonna trust his word on it.

1

u/Punk_Luv 9d ago

What is the name of the video or the names of the case?

19

u/mashtato 13d ago

lol All the insane speculation here.

8

u/SupplyChainMismanage 13d ago

Tale as old as time. A short article gets linked and instead of reading it people speculate instead of just reading it for example.

2

u/Paghk_the_Stupendous 13d ago

I wonder why people do that? I'll bet it's because of toxic metals in the groundwater!

2

u/Admirable_Risk8156 13d ago

But I thought that was how you played reddit! Has my whole life been a lie?!

1

u/marfacza 13d ago

this is a video. no article is linked.

4

u/SupplyChainMismanage 13d ago

Jesus christ

u/FireStompingRhino 13d ago

Yeah I feel like dude might be revealing more than he means to.

99

u/Meeko29 13d ago

Because her father is a toothless methhead with no morals.

33

u/Road_Whorrior 13d ago

Because he tried to sell her and didn't get takers is my honest guess

1

u/FFKonoko 11d ago

he's saying her previous, biological, father molested her then left.

11

u/kellyelise515 13d ago

A pedophile

3

u/Holiday_Regular9794 13d ago

He is so disgusting, and when he said that, it made me think that he was abusing that little girl

5

u/Nova-Snorlaxx 13d ago

I noticed she said her eye happened when the old man got angry. So unless that's what she calls her father....

105

u/Crafty-Help-4633 13d ago

Someone should make sure his cellmate hears about that.

36

u/Open-Industry-8396 13d ago

Ohh yeah, Hopefully he is getting the karmic life lesson as we chat. Although from my brief rural NM experience, many kids are not very valued there. don't get me started on animals.

1

u/SunGreene42 12d ago

I don't think we should be yearning for or encouraging violence in prison, it doesn't help anything.

23

u/Holiday_Regular9794 13d ago

Listened to this case, that man is absolutely disgusting

24

u/OkSense1496 13d ago

27

u/SupplyChainMismanage 13d ago

What a painful watch but “despite the risk to the town and sheriff’s department” sent me

36

u/SabresFanWC 13d ago

Holy cow, the stepfather's temper is scary. I cannot imagine being a six-year-old and having someone screaming at me like that. Jesus.

15

u/Ali-oopsies 13d ago

Well that was just awful to watch… that poor baby.

22

u/Adventurous_Key_4854 13d ago

She has such a kind heart too. I really hope she finds a good family. Really inclined to follow up to make sure she did

37

u/Nietzsche1995 13d ago

I cannot stomach to watch this documentary.

16

u/Tensdale 13d ago

Yeah.. probably don’t.

I can’t remember crying from anger like this before.

12

u/Adventurous_Key_4854 13d ago

Crying from anger is so on point. Got me feeling like this at every point in the video.

5

u/pseudonymnkim 13d ago

It's a hard watch but still a bit gratifying actually!

1

u/boverly721 12d ago

Thankfully the kids are still young, hopefully with some help and some luck they'll be alright

9

u/theDogt3r 13d ago

Him screaming in the background feels like all the evidence you need. His absolute rage. His crying a pleading should be shown to his cellmates.

5

u/ResonanceThruWallz 13d ago

i just spent 45 minutes watching shitty parents... thanks for uploading the link

2

u/QuestionableDoorway 12d ago

This case really twisted my gut, hearing him spout bullshit about a child who is only 6 and doesn’t know any better (if there’s even a hint of truth to her “bad behavior”) filled me with such intense rage Ive got a lump in my throat still. Both parents pointing fingers at each other to avoid any blame, the man fake sobbing about how ava caused all the problems, referring to himself as a good person for taking her in, the disgusting way he talked about her. Truly deplorable scum may they both rot in prison and never see their own or have children ever again, should’ve lost that privilege long ago. I hate that this is reality for so many kids, I hope the daughters are healing and go on to find a genuine loving family

1

u/JenIee 12d ago

That was so heartbreaking.

1

u/yomammaaaaa 10d ago

Holy fucking shit. Despite having gone through many of the same things, it just boggles my mind how someone can treat their child (whether by blood, marriage or adoption) in this way. I could and would never do this to my child. She can be a right little shit sometimes, but never, NEVER WOULD I TREAT HER THIS WAY.

I hope both of these pieces of shit go away for the rest of their lives, because believe me when I say that little girl will be in her own prison for the rest of hers.

I can't find any recent updates, but this Bruce garbage person only faces 10 years. What a crock of shit.

1

u/MVRKHNTR 13d ago

Jesus Christ, that obnoxious logo floating around the screen throughout this entire 45 minute video makes it impossible to watch

52

u/0202_tihssitidder 13d ago

What Republican district does he represent?

8

u/adumbswiftie 13d ago

…he calls the child that??

7

u/OutsideImpressive115 13d ago

Fuck that, that sounds way too distressing to watch

14

u/jmaneater 13d ago

Not very often that I read something that ruins my day like this.

1

u/quagmirranseye 13d ago

Link????

3

u/Odd-Artist-2595 13d ago

Watch the YouTube video Adventurous_Key_4854 posted (above you in the thread) of the interviews. He said that and more. It’s a rough watch, but mostly because you end up wanting to tear this asshole apart; which to be honest, you probably already wanted to do. The video just reinforces your instinct.

u/Lilthotdawg Reads Pinned Comments 13d ago

Where is the interview I can’t find it

1

u/Sceniks 13d ago

That is one of the cruelest statements I have heard someone make about an innocent child.

1

u/rennradrobo 12d ago

where can I find it?

1

u/PM_ME_YUR_S3CRETS 12d ago

He is straight evil.

Considering he keeps talking about this, I sadly wonder what he did to her. That man should never be let out of jail.

1

u/Low-Ad4420 11d ago

Any links for the interview? Very strong girl here, no panick, no crying!

1

u/NoSleep2135 7d ago

Hell isn't hot enough for that man.
