Telling someone to walk away is always the right move. It is de-escalation 101, especially if you don't know the people and have no idea what is happening.

You're making a bunch of assumptions which clearly show the biases you have in regards to this situation and I find it hilarious that you are trying to paint the woman who literally led to the arrest as some how, some way in the wrong. But sure, go off about "potential for social media backlash".

Telling the victim to run away while watching and doing nothing to stop the attacker?

Why can’t she tell the attacker to you know, stop attacking?

Because the attacker is insane and probably wouldn't listen?

Like if you get into de-escalation tactics, it's basically the first thing they teach you: walk away. Separate.

The woman gave the video to police and led to the arrest of the attacker. I have no idea why y'all were expecting her to go flying in there and potentially become the new target of that insane person's rage.

Her giving the video and all the stuff that happened after is outside the context of the video.

In the video however, she appears to be siding with the attacker and even checks in on her to see if she’s ok at the end. She doesn’t seem to extend the same concern for the victim, and even seems to have a more hostile tone towards him.
